Be sure to watch!

Saturday, July 26th, 2008

So my dad and I have been doing that KSL golf champions challenge every Tuesday night for the last 3 months or so, and we have been doing fairly decent.  Back on June 14th I lucked out and won the event.  So this qualifies me to play in the Championship on this coming Tuesday.  My dad unfortunately never qualified.  He took 2nd twice and 3rd twice.  Missing first both times by less than a foot :( .  But I can’t complain cuz he always shares his winnings with me, so I have some new golf balls and putter to show for his efforts.  Anyway, the Championship will be airing this coming Saturday (August 2nd) night at 11pm on KSL channel 5.  Tune in to see if I won.  Ok, I’m sure if I do win, I don’t think I will be able to contain myself and will have to write about it sooner.

97 lbs. and counting!

Saturday, July 26th, 2008

So it has been 11 months and I have dropped a whopping 97 lbs. now.  I am trying so hard to hit that century mark, but the last 10 lbs has been going so very slow.  My body just doesn’t want to lose anymore.  I can honestly say, I do not recall ever weighing this little.  As we were packing the other day, I found my letterman’s jacket from high school.  Now Beka and I have discussed on several occations if I weighed this much in High School.  She swears that I was smaller in high school.  But of course I disagree, and tell her that I can not recall the last time I weighed this little.  So I put on the jacket…needless to say, I could overlap the front of the jacket.  I’m going to go with this being the smallest I have been in a VERY LONG TIME.

WE SOLD OUR HOUSE!

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

Well it has happened. The house is under contract. The only bad thing about the whole thing, we have to be out by August 1st. That is less than 2 weeks! So we are currently spending all of our time packing this place up to move. We have aquired an apartment in Pleasant Grove that is right next to where our new house will be built. Then we can go and check on the progress on a daily basis. We will be moving the majorty of our stuff to a storage unit and then moving the important stuff to the new apartment. Hopefully we won’t be there for more than 4 months or so. I will update later when we have an expected build completion date. I talked with our builder and they have submitted our permits to build, so that is rolling along.
